Why ventrilo is better than skype

I use Skype mostly but I really wish it had the voice activation feature from teamspeak where it only transmits audio if it reaches a certain volume level.

Please state which one you chose and why. I would have to say Ventrillo. It is small and takes limited resources and as far as I know is the most widely used of these types of programs for gaming. It has worked great for me for a long time now. But also try using Team Speak RC 2. Yea i'm gonna try ventrilo. I'm using a friend's server right now But teamspeak causes money.
