But as I mentioned before, if you do want to give it a try, I would recommend using the UGG brand care kit , which comes with a water and stain repellent spray. It comes with a few other goodies and is one of the best options for maintaining your boots. If you choose to use one of these options, make sure you apply it to all necessary areas, and apply it before you wear the boots for the first time.

Also, unlike what some may say, do not blow dry or take a heater to the boots afterward. It is best to let them dry overnight. Now they may be waterproof , but are they snow-proof? Some have said yes, others still no. Personally, I would be cautious about wearing them for the first time in the snow. Snow generally gets mixed in with salt, and that just creates a painful consequence to anything suede.
